Mission Statement

The Belmont Police Department partners with state and federal agencies in the fight against terrorism in order to prevent, prepare, respond and recover from terrorist events both foreign and domestic. In support of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Initiatives, the Belmont Police Department’s Support Services Division participates with the NC State Bureau of Investigation Information Sharing And Analysis Center (ISAAC) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in criminal intelligence gathering and dissemination.

The Belmont Police Department supports DHS in the “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign where homeland security starts with hometown security.
