Newly Planned Recreation Center
The City of Belmont is currently planning for a new, 40,000 sq. ft. facility that will be built on the front portion of a large piece of land that is owned by the City on E. Catawba St. The facility would be located between the newly renovated CityWorks building and Kevin Loftin Riverfront Park. There have already been several focus group meetings that are a part of the overall project plan. The recreation center will be completed by Spring 2023. Please stay tuned for a ribbon cutting date.
