Getting Started

The first step to all plan review processes is to contact the Planning Department regarding your project. Please note: You will not be able to submit your application unless a pre-submittal meeting has occurred with planning staff. 

Next Steps

Once you have spoken with staff, you will receive an email containing a link to our online plan review portal, along with instructions to complete the plan review application that best fits your specific project. An invoice will be sent via email upon receipt  of the online application, and must be paid prior to staff completing their review. Please Note: Online applications are not considered complete until all required documentation has been uploaded, fees have been paid, AND hard copies of plans have been delivered.

In order to capture all of the required information for your specific plan review project, supplemental documentation may be requested as a part of your application- please reference the guides above for more details. Please utilize the forms below as applicable and upload as part of your online submittal.

 

Application Status and Updates

Applicants and Consultants can check on the status of their plan review, provide updates to their application, and pay any associated fees online by utilizing the plan review portal once their application has been submitted by utilizing their assigned access code. This code can be found on your invoice, or you may contact the planning department at 704-901-2610 for assistance.
