A request to rezone  221+ acres from R-1 Gaston County zoning designation to Belmont's Suburban Residential Conditional District (S-R/CD) to accommodate a 385-lot residential community (reduced from 549+/- lots).  The development is proposed to be a multi-generational community providing various housing types and a portion of the development will be age restricted. This development will require approval of an annexation petition and a zoning map amendment establishing the conditional zoning district.

Location:  West side of South Point Road, south of Lower Armstrong Road and north of Reflection Point.
