The Information Technology department is overseen by the Chief Technology Officer. It is responsible for managing technology, software, and services throughout the City in a cost effective and efficient manner. By working closely with each of the City Departments, the IT Department is able to understand their individual needs and requirements to then provide consultations, project planning and management, system upgrades and implementation, process development and improvement, change management, and technical support. The department is also responsible for developing and maintaining a roadmap to ensure the City is compliant throughout the ever changing world of technology. In addition, the department is responsible for the Cybersecurity planning and oversight in relation to City of Belmont devices and services.
