The Belmont Parks and Recreation Department hosts the fall tennis tournament which is named after the late Gerald White who taught many, many Belmont youths the wonderful game of tennis. Running from November 7 to 9 players can compete with other locals. Player applications may be obtained at the J. Paul Ford Center at 37  East Woodrow Avenue, Belmont, or call 704-825-8191.
