Belmont Parks and Recreation Department hosts the 13th annual Halloween Bash in downtown Belmont on Main Street from 5:00 to 9:00pm on the Saturday before Halloween. This children's event has free carnival games for the children to win candy and inflates to slide and bounce around. The Costume Contest draws nearly 200 contestants from infants to adults. The Cupcake Walk runs every 15 mintues starting at 5:30pm. The Belmont Fire Department is on site with their Smoke House where the children will learn how to escape a burning house. Businesses and community groups operate the games for free.
