There will be no garbage and recycling collection on Monday, December 26. All garbage and recycling will be collected one day later that week (Monday route collected on Tuesday, and so on).

The City of Belmont has contracted with Waste Pro for residential garbage, recycling, bulk item, yard debris, and leaf collection. Your garbage and recycling pickup day of the week will not change. Garbage will continue to be collected every week, but recycling will be collected every other week, as shown on the "blue weeks" on the calendar to the left. With the new 96-gallon recycling carts, residents are allowed to recycling additional items and more of them than before.Please click on the picture to the right for answers to many questions about the new Waste Pro solid waste services. 

Please refer to the calendar to the left for the recycling collection and yard debris collection schedule for 2011. All customers in Belmont will have their recycling carts collected on weeks that are shown in blue on the calendar. 

Bulk items and yard waste will be collected every two weeks. This service is provided on alternative weeks from recycling, or the weeks shown in red on the calendar to the left. Please do not put yard waste to the street unless it is a yard waste week. It will not be collected until a yard waste week.
