The Belmont Planning and Zoning Board is composed of eight citizens from the Belmont planning jurisdiction who meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Belmont City Hall.
The Planning and Zoning Board reviews amendments to the Land Development Code (the zoning ordinance), rezoning requests, conditional use permits, and major development plans. The Planning and Zoning Board makes recommendations to the Belmont City Council on these items, but the City Council has the sole authority to approve them.
