The City of Belmont is pleased to once again host the annual Girls on the Run New Balance 5k in downtown Belmont. Last year over 2,000 people participated in the run and festivities and we hope this year will be even bigger! The noncompetitive run begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, December 3, and pre-race festivities and check-in begins at 8:00 am at Stowe Park. The starting line will be moved to City Hall this year in order to get all runners off of the railroad tracks. The race will still finish at Stowe Park.


For Belmont residents and businesses, please be aware that at least one lane of traffic on the race course will be closed between 7:00 am and 11:00 am. We hope to reopen the streets as soon as all race participants have cleared that street. Please be patient with the runners and cheer them on as you wait for the street to reopen.
