The Belmont Parks and Recreation Department strives to provide recreational and leisure opportunities to the citizens of Belmont of all ages. The Parks and Recreation Department offices are located at the J. Paul Ford Recreation Center at 37 East Woodrow Avenue, Belmont, NC.

(Instructors Ron & Ann Lineberger) 6 wk session for $40

Beginner East Coast Dance Class Tuesdays at 7:00pm, $40 per person.

Beginner Guitar on Tuesdays at 5:30pm. 10 weeks = $100

Fist of the Tiger Martial Arts on Thursdays at 6:30pm.

 Zumba: starts Saturday, October 4, 10:15-11:15am. $4 per class.

New Soccer Park: Everette C. "Ebb" Gantt Park

Minimize

Construction on Gantt Park is not fully complete even though the bermuda grass is growing . We expect to play soccer there the spring of 2015. The park amenities include two full size soccer fields, 1/2 mile paved walking trail, playground, picnic shelter, and restrooms.
