The Belmont City Council is seeking citizens interest in becoming more active in their city government by volunteering to serve on advisory boards and committees. Seats are currently open on the Environmental Sustainability Board (5) and the Board of Adjustment (2).
The general purpose of the Environmental Sustainability Board is to serve as an advisory committee to the City Council regarding environmental sustainability issues such as tree protection and urban forestry, recycling, and energy use. The council is specifically seeking high school and college age applicants for this committee. If you know of any students who are eager to volunteer, please direct them to the application.
