Hometown Hoedown

Dust off your boots and saddle up for a night filled with live music, dancing, great food, and fun for all! This year’s annual Hometown Hoedown will be on October 7, 2017 at Park Street United Methodist Church in Belmont from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Featuring LIVE Music from Lowdown South (a country/southern rock band) and a delicious BBQ dinner from Kyle Fletcher’s BBQ, this is sure to be a night for the books! Tickets are on sale NOW and can be purchased at the Belmont Recreation Center at 37 E. Woodrow Ave. Belmont, NC.

Please note that the Hometown Hoedown is a 55+ years and older event. Advance ticket prices are available until September 15 and there is small price difference for out-of-city guests. Please call 704-825-8191 for more information.

Gad-Abouts

The Gad-Abouts is a group of Belmont seniors, ages 55 and older. They meet every Wednesday for day trips to museums, shopping, historic sites, and movies. Click here to see the calendar for September 2017.

New Members

New members meet on the 3rd Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the J. Paul Ford Recreation Center at 37 East Woodrow Avenue. Prospective members must be at least 55 years old and live inside the Belmont city limits.
